Junior Engineer

Established, Highly Successful and Respected Organisation, Located in West Kent, Specialising in the Manufacture of Bespoke and Complex Engineering Solutions are Seeking to Expand their Team with the Addition of a Junior Engineer

ROLE

• Assisting with Project Management for New Products from Concept Designs to Finished Product, Including Detailed Manufacturing Drawings, Material Specification/Selection, Material/Process Testing, Writing Detailed Reports
• Managing End to End Projects
• Design 3D Models for Bespoke Products
• Client/Sales Team Liaison to Identify Design Requirements
• Produce Technical Documents, Reports and Presentations for Internal and External Use

REQUIRED (Essential Qualifications & Experience)

• Relevant Engineering Degree in the Field of Mechanical/Design Engineering
• Regular and Competent Use of 3D CAD Software (Ideally Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks)
• Full Lifecycle Design Experience
• Capable of Producing Detailed Drawings with All Relevant Information Required to Manufacture/Assemble/Purchase
• Proficient IT Skills with Strong Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
• Demonstrable Ability to Work Autonomously on Projects and Demonstrate Initiative

REQUIRED (Desirable Experience)

• Working in an ISO 9001 Accredited Engineering company
• Project Management
• Working with Precision Sheet Metal and Machined Products
• Use of ERP and/or MRP Systems eg SAGE, Oracle, Progress Plus

REMUNERATION

• £30K p/a Subject to Qualifications and Experience
